Christmas Books and Activities Are Here!

I am so excited for these sets! Tis' the season for giving, so I wanted to give you the biggest bestest set I've put together yet!

I See Christmas! is a 'straight to the point' book. Perfect for kids who don't tolerate lots of words or who have shorter attention spans, this book uses the phrase "I see the...." to explore common Christmas sightings. From candy canes to Santa himself, this book is sure to bring relatable Christmas cheer to your family!

It's Christmastime!
has a few more words to it. Perfect for kids who enjoy repetitive phrases, this book uses the phrase "It's Christmastime, it's Christmastime when I see......!" to explore common Christmas sightings. This book covers all the sames things I See Christmas! does to be even more inclusive for your family!

I Know It's Christmastime! is for kids who like repetition, but maybe not quite as much as those who'd prefer It's Christmastime. This book uses the phrase "I know it's Christmastime when I see......!" to explore common Christmas sightings. This book covers all the sames things I See Christmas! and It's Christmastime! do to make sure nobody is forgotten!

The Christmas Tree Farm is for helping prepare your child for a trip to a real Christmas tree farm! Some of our kids struggle more with all of the unfamiliar things in such places than others do. From sightings to smells, this one covers a list of likely things they might experience - an item for each of the 5 main senses to prepare our children for a fun adventure as gently as we can!

Christmas Scavenger Hunts!

These fun scavenger hunts are perfect for increasing spatial awareness, connecting with our environments, and just plain ole fun! You can set any rules you want, but I suggest saying if it LOOKS like the item, it counts! Whether it's real candy canes or bells, or just decorations that look like them, the goal is to have fun so I would accept them all. I hope you have a blast with these versatile games that can be used in almost any town in the USA, and on longer road trips!

Christmas Activity Set

This set coordinates with the following books: I See Christmas, It's Christmastime, and I Know It's Christmastime! It brings in 14 familiar activities and 5 new types of activities - including a matching page with no wrong answers! There is also a Christmas Countdown Calendar, which could be use to just count down, or could be paired with tangible items to turn it into an advent calendar. I created this because my own child is prone to destroying things like countdown chains. If this gets torn up, it only takes a few minutes to print and prepare a replacement.

The Shapes on My Christmas Tree!

This is my FIRST book with a gestalt language processing kid's input! I was really struggling to nail the words. A wonderful mother showed the pictures to her son and he changed my word "like" to "put." That is was exactly what this book needed! If you introduce this book before you setup your own Christmas tree, you just might help your child better connect to the activity. This is why it is one of my early release sets. This is a mini set. It has 2 shapes sorting activities included in the file.

I'm Going to See Santa at the Mall!

The book is a social emotional story about a child going to the mall with their grownup, just to see SANTA! They get nervous and forget what they want, and panic a bit when it's their turn! This book quickly touches base on the options to sit or stand and the mindfulness of others who are waiting to see Santa after us. Although the child is too nervous to find their words to talk to Santa, the story has a happy ending.

This book is not written in gestalts.

There are letter to Santa templates for writing, or for pasting pictures to coordinate with this book.

For the picture letter to Santa, cut pictures out of sales ads, or print pictures from the internet to help your child make their wishlist. You can even take it with you as a visual aide when you see Santa!

1st Grade Math Templates

I'm super excited to bring more advanced activities in to meet the needs of more kiddos! This math set comes with an addition template and a subtraction template. It can accommodate addition up to 14+14, and Subtraction starting with numbers as high as 30! You create your own problems with this one, so it's a step up from the cards included in my activity packs. No writing is required for these, however if your child prefers writing, you can omit the velcro on the number cards and boxes, and use dry erase markers there.

Gingerbread Village Craft Templates

These are designed so that the whole family, regardless of fine motor skills, can create unique gingerbread houses, people, and even trees! Use wrapping paper or poster board + construction paper to create a background if you want to make a village. There are many options for every piece of the house - except for the house itself. It is a pentagon. You can choose roofs, windows, doors, candy decorations etc. Use puffy paint, paint pens, sequins, glitter (if you're brave), buttons, ribbons, or little pieces of paper to add your personal touch to anything! Have fun, and encourage everything your child comes up with, no matter how silly! Gingerbread houses are silly by nature!

Christmas Coloring Pages

Most of these coloring pages also have words to color on them to promote letter recognition. There is much debate over whether or not coloring pages are beneficial for children, so I provide them for children who request them.
